It’s hard to describe the purpose of this tumblr, because in reality it has countless purposes, it’s aspirational, at points inspiring and others just appreciates beauty. The aesthetic is equally as complex it’s old fashioned, continental, opulent and elegant, the adjectives go on ad infinitum.

The name is taken from the academy that Epicurus founded in Classical Athens. I chose it because the philosophy is so simple. Enjoy life, with modesty.
